PLANS
So i'm back in San Fran and we will be staying here for a week until we get on a plane and head back to Australia. I have an appointment booked with "The Wizard" a guy that my mate Will knows who apparently is the man for massage, so i hope he can work on my shoulder and do some good. It's been 4 weeks now since i dislocated it and it's not feeling like i have had much improvement in it at all. The Orthopedic Surgeon said he does not think i need surgery cause the tear in the Labrum is in the back of my shoulder but i have spoken to alot of people that have torn their Labrum in the front and they have all had surgery? I have talked to alot of people who are qualified Massage therapist, Orthopedic Surgeons, Physio Therapists, Accupunturist and not one can give me a sure answer as to what is wrong and how i fix my shoulder, I mean i know there is a tear in the Labrum cause thats what the MRI said but the Physo told me he thinks there is somthing else going on with my shoulder than just a labrum tear. I asked him whether it's possible that the MRI report could have been read wrong cause all the pain is in the front of my shoulder and he said it could be possible and could not tell me what was wrong with me.
I feel like i'm in pretty much the same position i was in the day i dislocated my shoulder :(
On another note Me and Teegan bought a caravan from Ebay and when we get back to Australia we are going to live in that for a while untill i can get my shoulder fixed. So for now the plan is get back to Australia get my shoulder fixed get strong again and get back on the rock and finish our travels :)

HHMMMMMMM
Well we have decided the best option for us is to head home. I don’t want to head home, this trip was a dream trip for me but its just not meant to be. I felt like I was just getting back to being strong again in Hueco and I’m sure the rest of the trip was just going to get better. I have been in Bishop now for the last few weeks and I have watched so much trash TV and I feel like all I’m doing is eating. My side of the bed in the motel room has a nice imprint of my back side in it and it seems to be getting deeper and deeper so if no one can find me I’m staying at El Rancho Motel just check room 4 and you will find me engulfed by the bed.
So my plan is to head back to Australia, buy a caravan and live in that for a while, do some work and wait for my shoulder to get better and then we will get back on a plane and come and finish the trip.
Bishop has some of the coolest lines I have ever seen. I can’t wait to come back here and climb them. I’m grateful for the good time I had in Hueco and I’m glad I could come to bishop - even if it was just to look at boulders.
I have been having Acupuncture on my shoulder and I think it’s been working. If your ever in Bishop and want some needles stuck in you look up a guy called Howard Wu the man is a genius and I highly recommend him to anyone. I been to physio with my shoulder and he did seem to think as well as my torn Labrum there is something else going on with my shoulder???? Man I wish someone could just say “hey Chris this is what wrong with your shoulder and this is what you need to do”
I’m trying to think of more stuff to write but I’m a bit lost for words hhhhhmmmm

Come To An End
So I have been to the Physio and i've had some needles stuck in me by an Acupuncturist. The Physio has given me some exercises to do so I can get my shoulder stronger again but I feel it's got a very long way to go before I can hang any body weight from it - so that makes me really fucking happy. I'm still in Bishop but we are thinking of coming back home so I can get my shoulder better and start saving to go on another trip as soon as my shoulder feels better. I know i'm letting my sponsors down by not being able to continue on with this trip and I feel like dogs balls for not being able to continue on but i'll do my best to keep supporting them and i'll be back as soon as I can and hopfully i'll be even stronger next time.
The trip has not been a complete waste of time. I have met some great new people seen some cool new things and had some really good times. So I have to do a bit more thinking about things but i'm for sure leaning towards going back to Australia. I think it could be the best option for us at this point, FUCK
Me looking at The Mandala in Bishop (next time) and Mt Toms over Bishop

Positive Thinking
So I’m still in Bishop and I still cant climb and now I have got the Flu (good times).
I spoke to my Orthopedic Surgeon and he told me because the tear in my Labrum is in the back of my shoulder I don’t have to have surgery. I know that’s a good thing but I’m just worried that it won’t get any better without surgery. My Orthopedic Surgeon told me to have Physio on my shoulder, so that’s what I’m going to do.
There is also an Acupuncture place around the corner from where I’m staying so I’ll head down there today and ask if they can stick some needles in me.
The weird thing about my shoulder is the MRI showed a tear in the back of my shoulder but all the pain is in the front of my shoulder??? I have never felt any pain in the back of my shoulder the pain has always been in the front???
I can’t stop thinking maybe just maybe the MRI was not read properly and the tear is in the front of my shoulder??? Or they missed some other tears in the front of my shoulder???
I guess now I just have to go to a Physio and start rehab on it to be able to start climbing on it again and go from there…POSITIVE THINKIG
