First Day
So my come back has begun, I went to Soul Slinger in the morning and it felt so spoogie WTF? there was snow on the ground but it was fairly warm. I pulled on and I got to the last crimpy section but could not put any body weight on the tiny edges without my finger slipping. After a few more attemps I almost tore a hole in my finger, so I moved onto an easier problem, The Mandala, haha. I have wanted to climb this boulder since I saw it in a movie called Dosage and today I had my chance. On my last trip I really wanted to flash it and I think that it could have happend but today I just wanted to sit on top of the thing even though a flash would have been nice. I pulled on and made the big first move to the little edge, put my foot up and made a move left hand to another crimp and fell, there goes the flash. My skin was soft and I only had another couple of goes left before my skin was going to bleed. I was given some advise from a local guy called Adam who told me I went to the wrong part of the hold with my left hand so after another few goes of trying to sort out my beta I was standing on top of the Mandala.
Im so happy to be climbing again. Considering 3 months ago I was not allowed to lift over five kg's Im very happy
My shoulder held up ok although on the redpoint shot it made some nasty cracking noises but im told thats normal :)
I did not try to climb anything els the rest of the day so I can save some skin for tomorrow.

In Bishop
About 10 minutes ago we rolled on into Bishop.
My mate Dave and Nathan are renting a house in Bishop, so me and Will are going to crash here for a few months.
The weather is looking good and tomorrow im off to the Milks to try Soul Slinger V9 and The Mandala V12. It would be a good first day if I can do these problems but im yet to see what my shoulder can take on the rock.
I have not climbed a boulder problem on rock for almost one year now so im crazy happy to be here.
I have only been out of Australia for one week and im already missing Teegan and my dog Annie.
Ill write again tomorrow and spill the beans on how the first day goes.
Now its time for Dinner and time to put the feet up and get ready for some fun on the Blocs tomorrow.

The Bay
So im in san Fran and im feeling good.
I arrived yesterday and had a chilled out day in Oakland.
After a restless night due to jet lag me and Will went to Iron Works for a boulder session. I jumped on the wall and i felt good, i managed to do all the harder problems they had there up to V11 so i was really happy with how im feeling, its crazy but last time i was here in the US i went to the same gym before we got on the road and i did not feel as strong as i did today so i hope its a sign of good things to come.
We are going to hang out here in the Bay for another week to escape the crowds in Bishop, then we are off to Bishop for two months. Bring it on
